I have indepth experience providing mental health services to the gay, lesbian and bisexual community in Washington, DC.

In my private practice, 30% to 50% of my clients often are gay, lesbian or bisexual clients. I collaborate with several LGB and LGB-friendly psychiatrists and physicians.

My gay, lesbian and bisexual clients come to see me for several reasons:

• Relationship/work issues
• Family-of-origin issues
• How to navigate nontraditional couples and family formation
• How to navigate non-traditional sexual boundaries
• Sexual orientation questions that come up mid-stream in a heterosexual marriage

Prior to private practice, I provided direct clinical services and pro-bono consultation at Whitman-Walker Health. I also served as a clinical researcher for the American Psychological Association, Office on AIDS.
